Here we have a video of us doing work on an old house that has not had repairs done to the exterior in quite some time. There was water damage surrounding the areas where decking was installed due to it not being sealed up properly.

To get to the siding, shiplap, bands, and sill plates - we had to first remove the ledger and floor joists to the front and back decks. Then do some serious patch work as we removed all rotted wood and replaced it with new materials. In the end we put new siding back up with a much more modern approach to sealing off the house.

We then installed a front door, sliding glass doors, and a new exterior wall with windows. New decking to finish things off and we were done!
